Greg Yahia

USPTA Pro 1 Greg Yahia loves teaching the game of tennis. “I enjoy the impact the game has on people and their lives,” he says. His expertise lies in adult lessons, group dynamics and using innovative corrective measures.

Greg is a tennis professional and director of adult group lessons at the Mid-Town Athletic Club in Rochester, N.Y. He previously taught at the Weslow Racquet Club in Waltham, Mass., and the Racquet Club of St. Petersburg in St. Petersburg, Fla.

In 1999, Greg received the Western New York Professional of the Year Award and held a No. 5 ranking in the USPTA men’s 45s. He feels his greatest tennis accomplishment is creating, running and maintaining an early morning tennis culture at Mid-Town Athletic club.

Greg has a bachelor’s degree in French from Connecticut College in New London, Conn., and is happily married to his wife, Mary.
